    New features and improvements in Docusnap 12

    Docusnap Wizards

    • To enhance the differentiation of IP ranges in our wizards, a description field limited to 80 characters has been added. This makes it easier to identifiy the desired range.
    • The SNMP Wizard has been optimized. Within an IP range, multiple comma-separated Community Strings can now be configured, enabling inventory in one single step.
    • To increase efficiency, SNMPv3 authentication information can now be assigned for entire IP ranges instead of each individual system.

    Microsoft 365

    • Setting up Docusnap Azure (Entra ID) Apps is now possible even for free Azure Active Directory subscriptions. This enables inventory of lab environments.
    • In case of issues during the inventory of a Microsoft 365 product, the inventory will no longer be terminated but instead provide an appropriate notification.
    • Additional checks ensure that the selected products are inventory-ready right from the start of the wizard.

    Improved Performance in Maps

    • Performance in map creation has been significantly improved. For instance, generating extensive topology maps or frameworks should now be considerably faster.
