Microsoft 365 - News and Enhancements
The inventory within the identity provider Azure Active Directory has been extended and now displays data from the new section Organization with its subsections Basic Data, Contact Information, Tenant Data and Verified Domains. Additionally the Organization section has been linked into the Microsoft 365 section for quick access.
We have improved the functionality of the Microsoft Teams inventory: now, channel members are also displayed for each channel. In addition, Teams users are now visible with all Microsoft 365 information available in Docusnap.
The already familiar Microsoft product reports have been extended to include the new Teams Usage and SharePoint Online Usage reports.
Unlike all other inventoried data, Microsoft 365 data retrieved via Microsoft’s in-house report interface is not up to date on a daily basis. To make it easier for users to identify this asynchronous data, all information retrieved through this channel is now marked with a uniform icon under the Statistics menu item to clearly highlight this specific data source.
BitLocker Recovery Key
BitLocker recovery keys stored in Active Directory are now included in the Active Directory inventory and are displayed as a new item in the inventory result for the respective computer account.
The new Windows component BitLocker captures the BitLocker recovery keys stored locally on Windows systems and displays this data in the inventory result in the Partitions section.
HTTP-Security-Header
To optimize security, the HTTP security headers (HSTS, X-XSS-Protection, CSP, X-Content-Type-Options), except for X-Frames-Options, have been permanently enabled for Docusnap Server. The HTTP security header X-Frames-Options can be additionally enabled in the Docusnap server settings. With this option enabled, maps and reports are no longer displayed in Docusnap Web.
Microsoft SQL Inventory
The new option Exclude system databases in the advanced options of the Microsoft SQL Inventory makes it possible to exclude these databases easily from the inventory.
Report Site - System Assignments
The Site - System Assignments report has been modified and is now split into two separate reports. The Site System Assignments report lists only the systems that have been directly assigned to this site, while the Site System Assignments Recursive report additionally lists the systems of the subordinate sites.
